Support Sassee

Join us to share our appreciation of all the

work Sassee does for our community.

Cat rescue is an often thankless job. It can be soul-crushing, exhausting, and financially challenging for rescues and rescuers.

Sassee has been part of our rescue community for more than 10 years, tirelessly working individually and with others to help cats and people in every community – often those with the fewest resources or other sources of assistance. A few nights ago Sassee was trapping some cats late at night, when her car was totaled by a hit and run driver.

This catastrophe hasn’t stopped her commitment to continue helping the cats and people that depend on her to rescue, feed, care for or provide cat food. We all have many adopters whose cats were originally rescued by Sassee. As a rescue community we are determined to come together and help Sassee get at least $5000 in donations so that she can get a short term car rental and get her car back on the road and continue doing this essential work.

Join us Thursday July 31 from 6:30-8:30 at Brooklyn Cat Cafe in appreciation for all of the hard work that rescuers do to support our friend and fellow rescuer Sassee.

$35 tickets at the door. You can reserve your spot here or just walk in.
